Recently, Florida senator Tom Wright proposed a bill that would make it so that when you buy a used car, dealers do not have to transfer the title over to you as a new owner in the currently required 30 days time. This could make ownership very hazy, and it could also result in people having difficulties getting license plates.
This may or may not be related to the issues that virtual car dealer Carvana is having nationally. In Florida, the State has threatened to revoke their dealer license due to their inability to file transfers in a timely manner. Obviously having your car title on time is a big part of the service of purchasing a car, and it's very important the the State does not allow flexibility in the law on for filing paperwork like this.
If you are looking to get your title transferred, or you have recently purchased a car and are trying to get your registration completed, contact Auto Tags of Florida for quick service.
